Sunday Soundtrack: Georg Levin – Leisure Suit

October 29, 2008

Thanks to the wonders of Last.fm, I came across a lovely little laidback track by Georg Levin called ‘Leisure Suit’.

One half of electro pop slash house act Wahoo, Berlin based Levin has been musically minded since childhood, playing in bands and experimenting with recording equipment.    After meeting Alexander Barck from Jazzanova (co-founder of record label Sonar Kollectiv and responsible for 4Hero, Clara Hill and Fat Freddy’s Drop), he released ‘ When I’m with you’ in 2001.  He’s now lucky enough to be able to count singing, songwriting and producing to his catalogue of talents…not to mention being pretty easy on the eye.

Fittingly titled, Leisure Suit and its Scandinavian beats (despite being German) is the perfect addition to a lazy Sunday soundtrack and equally wouldn’t sound out of place whilst sipping cocktails in a very swanky bar.
