Top of the crops

Drop and give me 20 – the crop top is back.
I’d read it in the magazines and seen it creeping into a few in shops. The latest thing to be littering the high street is indeed the return of the 80s crop top.
T-shirt, vest, 50s rockabilly tie-hem shirt, striped or ditsy; make like Daisy Lowe at the Coachella festival and don a cut-off top (with unfortunately not a place in sight to hide that winter ‘padding’).
Having been spotting a few trends over the weekend for my friends in LA, River Island, Topshop and Primark are backing the mid-driff T hard, not to mention ASOS. So if you’re the owner of a washboard stomach or have an ability to make like Britney (cramming in over 200 crunches a day) make sure you invest in the shape to be seen in.
For me, i think this is one trend i’ll leave to the likes of Mischa Barton, Cheryl Cole and anyone who is lucky (and young) enough to own abs of steel.
