Paul Ritch – Split The Line Dubfire Mega Remix

December 22, 2009

Sometimes there really is nothing quite like a crescendo building house track to lift the spirits. Thanks to Paul Ritch and Dubfire, that’s exactly what Split The Line delivers.

My lovely friends at CR2 Records sent over their Space Around The World release that introduced me to the mix. Funny how the things work sometimes too as it’s French producer Ritch who happens to be the other half of Handycraft, an alias with Okain, who’s forthcoming Acrobat EP has recently been one of my most played tracks, not to mention highly likely to make it into my Sounds Of 2009. So with that in mind, it’s not really much of a surprise Paul Ritch has been brought to my attention completely by chance…

Split The Line was originally released in April this year, and has been revamped and rebooted by Dubfire who’s worked with everyone from Booka Shade to UNKLE. As if it wasn’t already an outstanding tune, he injects it with an even more sure-fire formula for a packed crowd, whatever the club. Crescendos? Check. Full-bodied bass? Of course. Dark, hypnotic vibe? Absolutely! What more could you ask for? Enjoy…

Space Around The World is a triple disc set, out now on CR2 Records. CD one is mixed by Camilo Franco, two by Elio Riso and three, features six full length unmixed tracks.
