Uhmm… what happened to Weeknotes?

It was full on before Christmas. It’s no excuse, I know. I often put a lot of pressure on myself and I’m working on doing less of that. I also had some holiday to use up before it ran out at the end of December. And an actual holiday in Jan!

I’m back, somewhat rested, and ready to crack on with work and Weeknotes. So with that in mind, here’s a summary of what my 3 day back-to-work week has been like.

Syncs with designers on new projects. I’ve loved this. Proper time with partners in design. We talked through what’s new, what’s developed, and how we can move it all forward together.

Planning a brand language workshop. This is my priority task this sprint. I’ve jotted down the personas we need to shape this for. We had 2 and we’re now going to have about 10.

I’ve been looking into the often titled “5 stages of the customer [buying] journey”. I’m starting to look into the mental modes people. Ideally, the mental modes each persona. Plus, I’m mapping existing content and the way our brand ‘speaks’. I know there’s a carbunkle* of opportunity here.

*Thanks to my friend, Fi, for “curbunkle” – the word (among many) of our holiday.
