Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Sailor is a tip-off of all things. Think fashion, art and music viewed from soldiersailor’s perspective. And soldiersailor is a blogging alias – my real name is CJ Scott.

A cool vintage shop. Powerful techno track. Or tips on living more thoughtfully. Hopefully you’ll find something new here that perks up your ears, eyes and outlook on life.

    Hey Clare,
    I met you a few weeks back when Matteo interviewed my hubbie, Jonathan, about the internet series that he is working on in the glamorous of settings that is the Holiday Inn just north of Oxford St.
    Hope all is well with you. I just wanted to drop you a note to say that your blogs are fab!
    I saw the new Net-a-Porter site is up and running. Looks great and what could be more perfect in this economic climate…

    Hi Ellie,

    Really good to hear from you and so pleased you like Tinker Tailor! What a coincidence we were both at Harrods at the same time…such a small world.

    I’m not sure if it’s still going ahead but will you be at the shoot Jonathon’s doing with Matteo? I think its for a tailoring brand. My friend (of Tinker Tailor and One More Sailor fame, a collaboration) is doing the shots and i’ll probably come along. Would be good to spend some more time putting the Harrodian world to right! Hope to see you there.

    Hey there,

    Hope all’s well with you and that you’re enjoying the bank hol weekend. Jon and I joined a gym this week and have overdone it going every day which resulted in us conking out today and falling asleep like a couple of old grannies this afternoon!
    The photo shoot got postponed but am not sure when to. If you’re going will definitely come for a natter!

    I stumbled upon your site randomly and found myself reading through your current posts and back through some of your older ones. I particularly liked your recommended motivational songs.
