Weeknotes 14 June, 2024

An awesome week filled with lots of learning and meeting people face-to-face. Here are some of my highlights.

Publishing content guidance. My team has spent weeks working on a content wiki with lots of examples to help empower others. We’re now publishing things and it’ll all soon be live. It feels so good to do this!

Creating coachmarks. This had a a tight turnaround so I got scrappy. A few quick sketches to organise the journey and even faster copywriting in Figma. Not perfect, but perfect for a first, fast draft.

Collecting inspo for Q3. I’ve had lots of ideas of what to work on over the next quarter so have noted them down. I’ll forget otherwise. I’ve not “planned” the quarter yet, but I do want to pilot piloting another AI tool. And also delve back into the behaviour change frameworks and theory.

Loving every minute of Lead with Tempo. There were so many, incredible talks packed into just one day yesterday. (Kudos, Rachel McConnell and Alis Cox – that must have taken some serious scheduling and yet, it felt flawless).

So many of the speakers touched on things that I’m navigating right now. Jen Schaefer on managing across and up. Danielle Small on smart ways for small teams to use AI. And Anna “Soda Bomb” Söderbom on saying no, and the messy process of figuring things out on your own. It was so great to be there in person and meet so many like minds. I hope they Lead with Tempo do it all again next year.
