So much has been going on this week. I’ve been packing things in to free up some time for an afternoon off to go to The Great Escape in Brighton. I go every year now. It’s so much fun to have the city you call home filled with music – and still sleep in your own bed.
Here are a few of the things I’ve been working on…
Getting to grips with a new user testing platform. We’re now using Great Question, which has wayyyy better usability than Userlytics. We launched some terminology tests and I’m now in the synthesising phase. It’s always a bit of a steep learning curve doing this, but I know things will speed up after the 1st or 2nd time doing so.
Feeding back on sprint demos. I don’t tend to write about this as it’s one of those things I do every week. It’s another way to catch, and fix, the little things, that might otherwise slip through.
Doing less. The last couple of sprints haven’t gone to plan so this one I’ve taken on less to allow for things parachuting in. My boss once said, “We can always do more.” The sentiment behind that was about doing the right things, not overloading ourselves.
And with “doing less” in mind I’m going to stop here. Have a good weekend – perhaps also doing less.
