Most of the week I’ve been at a kick off in Bulgaria. Our whole product team got together to talk about 2026 and to get our hands dirty vibe coding. It’s been so much fun.
The travel back was less fun. There aren’t so many flights from Sofia, or at least not yesterday, so it was a bit of schlep home. It’s soooo nice to be home.
Before I slope off into the weekend to rest, here’s a teeny tiny further look at this week’s antics…
Creating a concept for feature to collect invoices, receipts etc from a user’s inbox. It then processes the docs in our software, and posts them to a general ledger. The idea is it does everything automatically. I put together a mini presentation to showcase it.
Writing a content testing plan. We’re fortunate enough to have an awesome research team. They created an easy-to-follow playbook on the new platform we’re using. I want to make it equally clear about how best to test content. So, I’ve documented the approach we should take for testing new subscription content.
Problem-solving like the old days. As in, standing around a computer with a PM, designer, and 2 engineers to tweak content together. I miss this. Remote work is great, but nothing beats being together and iterating on the spot.
