Weeknotes 1 August, 2025

I was sick for 3 weeks earlier this year and I’ve found it hard to get back in to a groove with exercising. This week I’ve declared war with my wobbly bits and have been getting back to it in the gym. Apologies for the overshare – this is in a bid to hold myself accountable.

On the work front it’s been a real mix this week, including…

A retro on our research work. We have a small research team and they empower us to run our own research. On Monday, we looked at how this is going, with a view to optimise processes wherever we can.

Updating our content wiki. I’d scheduled our “how we work” page for review so review it was. Our processes evolve so it needed a bit of an updated. It’s a great page to share in the business with new starters and as a reminder too.

A mini audit on one of our features. Something came up in regular calls to check. I couldn’t replicate the problem unfortunately, but I’ll keep an eye on it.

Planning for the next quarter. The whole business joins this. And it used to cross over couple of days and this time we finished almost 2hrs earlier. Efficient!

Auditing our onboarding. We have multiple groups of users. That means onboarding includes many journeys; so I’m starting small.
