Last week I went back to my Weeknotes roots with them being about reflection. I tried one framework so righto, on to reflection framework #2.

- Halt spending time on low impact projects. I had a big onboarding task this week. It was to take a deeper dive into reviewing the content and suggest improvements. I reflected on the ask and dialled it back how much time I could commit to it. I then used a time-tracker to keep me accountable – and it worked.
🚀 Start
- Using a time-tracker for low impact projects. If you read the above you’ll see I’m already doing this. I’ll do it for a period of time. Then, I’ll reflect on how and where I’m spending my time, and crucially, where I can make changes for the better.

- Optimising my efficiency with AI. This an obvious one to me – I’ve been doing this for some time.
Here’s an example of how I did this this week: I used AI to write every email in a brief.
There were 12 emails and I wanted a quick first drafts. This time 6 months ago, or even less, I wasn’t doing that. I would have written them and edited them myself. This could have taken a day, maybe more.
Putting the first draft together using AI has taken less than half a day – that’s a whopping 50% less in hours. No, that doesn’t mean I should be doing 50% more work. What it does mean is that I’m 50% more effective. Boundaries matter, and taking on more can dilute impact – not to mention fuel burnout. And no one wants either.
