Weeknotes 27 February, 2026

A lot of what’s been sitting in my head for months finally made it onto paper and into conversation. That felt significant. I often do my early thinking quietly, letting ideas take shape before I share them. This week was about externalising more of that thinking earlier. Shaping it in the room rather than waiting until it feels finished. A small shift, but an important one.

We had a refinement session on our content prioritisation matrix. (A good example of this shaping). Bringing a PM perspective in wasn’t just about validation; it was about visibility and shared ownership. If we’re asking teams to trust our judgement about where we’ll invest and where we won’t, that judgement needs to be clear and easy to follow. The conversation sharpened the edges of the framework and made the trade-offs more explicit. Less “because content says so,” more “because this is the impact we’re choosing.”

I also spent time in research training and a reflective session that reminded me how much craft still sits beneath good judgement. Tools, methods, prompts — they’re helpful. But the real work is in knowing when to use them, and why. We’re starting to formalise some of our thinking around AI-supported content tools, which feels exciting. Not because it’s shiny, but because it’s becoming intentional.

I’m also proud of the team working on our AI Agent. There’s a lot of invisible effort going into making something complex feel simple. Watching that level of care up close is a good reminder that pace and thoughtfulness don’t have to be opposites.

Next week I’ll be finishing a handover before taking a break. There’s something satisfying about leaving things in a clear state — not just done, but understood. Then: books, beach, and a bit of space to think.
