It’s been a quieter week, which I’m grateful for. We’ll soon start our Q2 planning, so there’s a lot of work coming up. For now, here’s a reflection on two of the top-line things moving forward…
Creating an impact and effectiveness report. It’s tracking things like the number of tasks our content team handles, how many teams are adopting our AI, and no. of Office Hours booked. There are data gaps I need to fix; the next steps.
Accessibility review of a key feature and creating a report for this. The size of this task felt a bit overwhelming at the start. So, I used Claude. The idea was to create a step-by-step guide, using the WCAG guidelines, to review the feature. It was the wrong approach.
While the guide looked the part, on closer inspection it was so complex that I didn’t use it. I’d already created a WCAG-informed markdown file, so I got Claude to do the work. Sounds obvious, but it wasn’t to start with. My job is now reviewing the output, which is looking far more useful. That’s next week’s task.
