Weeknotes 28 August, 2026

I hit three big deliverables this week:

1. A voice and tone review of 33 emails.
2. The first draft of my H1 self review.
3. Documented thinking on content standards, or content “foundations”.

My key reflections on this?

• I planned – and stuck to – focus time for each deliverable.
• I managed expectations. I gave clear dates of when I could deliver each thing, and made what I was working on visible. I was then prepared for the conversation about trade offs if needed, which it wasn’t in the end.
• I took breaks I exercised. I did some meal planning. I rested – I looked after myself. I knew it was going to be a big week and wanted to be at my best.
