It’s been a meeting-heavy week and felt quite fragmented. Naturally, this has eaten into my focus time. It’s also eaten into my brain space so I’m glad the weekend is around the corner.
One big win is that I’ve protected what little focus time I’ve had. I’ve managed to review a prototype and documenting copy changes. I’ve shared my thoughts on improving ways of working in a delivery team. And I’ve planned for in-person sessions next week. The latter leads nicely to my 2 main reflections on where our team goes next, which I plan on sharing wider next week…
Improve the feedback loop on our trained AI tools. Specifically our Claude skill. Delivery teams are using it, yet the feedback we’re asking them to share isn’t landing. We’re left guessing. Instead, we’ll invest more in what good looks like for a feedback loop, try it, and test adoption.
Go deeper on our systems. Document them better and demonstrate them more. Copy matrices, accessibility checks are examples of these. Help others better understand what to apply before content reviews. This is about intentionally shifting the silent process to a visble state. Kinda like pulling back the the curtain on the wizard of Oz, yet hopefully leading to enlightenment, not disappointment.
