The Fashion Office Recommends…Motivational Songs
We’re feeling the burn this week so what better than a good old motivational song to get The Fashion Office and the rest of you kick-started?
From classic Candi Staton to disco diva Donna Summer, we’ve picked all the tracks you need to stop procrastinating and help you realise the world really is at your feet.
A Work In Progress picks: A song you can never tire of, The Source featuring Candi Staton – You’ve Got The Love.
Ellie elects: Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’, performed by the cast of new TV sensation, Glee.
Favourite Thing opts for: Simple Plan – When I’m Gone.
Sartoriology recommends: Flo Rida featuring T Pain – Low.
Soldiersailor suggests: Barbara Streisand and Donna Summer – No More Tears (Enough is Enough).
Plus, just for fun, we’ve dug this one out of an archive of tracks time almost forgot: Baz Luhrmann – Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen).
Last week, we were feeling inspired by cities. See what made our list of recommendations here.
Wow, 130 views in just under six hours. That’s 22 an hour, i hope you are all feeling motivated now! 🙂
Come on — This needs to be added to the above list!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OhhhHp-5-Q Works for us!
Can’t beat a bit of Springsteen 🙂
Awesome Getting me through a horrigfically hot day in the office today
🙂
I remember looking up Michael Phelp’s playlist during the 2008 summer Olympics. I’ve had Lil’ Wayne’s “I’m Me” on my ipod ever since. One of only a handful of ridiculous rap songs I own, but a good one.
Most of the songs are demotivating to me. I thing “Celebration” of Cool & the gang or this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBnP69hbIDM was much more motivational.
Sorry our recommendations didn’t quite hit the spot for you. What motivates one may not motivate another I guess. Thanks for your suggestions, particularly the ‘Give a bit of hmmm for me’!
great songs, fun to hear
That’s the spirit!
