Icons and inspiration

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about icons. Not necessarily those pivotal figures like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn – whom without a doubt, are indeed icons – but more-so photographs, items – anything you personally consider to be iconic and inspirational.

A small collection of illustrative images has been growing upon my desktop. Here they are – a few of my ‘iconic’ thoughts, some of which I find inspiration in again and again, and some, which are simply sparking my interest this very second. Enjoy.

This modern-day shot of the Danish model Ditte Johnsen reminds me so much of my mum’s natural beauty in the 70s.
