It was a cold January day strolling through the Marais in Paris when our label tschüss! first came to life. This was four years ago, when a vintage blouse bought within the architectural district inspired big things.
Fast forward to May 2013, excusing the procrastination, if you will, and tschüss! – a line of handmade one-of-a-kind blouses, named after the German word for “cheerio!” – leaped to life with three floral prints.
Our first customer? The lovely Chanelle of The Vintage Event who fell in love with our black and pink blouse (second from the top) when we debuted the collection at her Balham Bowls Club vintage fair.
We’re in the midst of adding further prints to our shop on Etsy, with lots of other exciting things afoot such as smaller sizes (the current blouse is M-L which roughly fits a U.K. 12-14). Four more prints are currently in production too, a proper shoot is being planned, as are various off-shoots of the original silhouette – think dresses and kimonos. We’ll also be launching a custom made service.
For now, take a look at our newly launched store, run by our good selves.
